SPLENDID RAINFALL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, June 11. Farmers' lots of wheat sold at 4s iy 2 d to 4s 2d. It is estimated that the rain is worth millions of pounds in New South Wales alone, and other participating States similarly. The latest reports state that rain is still falling. Many orders for trucks to move starving stock have been cancelled. Melbourne, June 11. Wheat ha 9 dropped from 4s 3d to 4s 2d. The rain was heaviest -where it was most needed. The most pessimistic concede that the wheat crop is largely safe and pastoral conditions vastly ameliorated. Brisbane, June 11. The rain is falling heavily. Rivers are overflowing their banks. There have been numerous railway washaways. There has been a phenomenal rainfall at Bogantungan of over eleven inches, and in other places over nine Inches have fallen. Adelaide, June 11. The fall of rain is heavy in the whole State. The wool clip is. fair. The lambing percentage is assured, and the harvest is assured in many districts. Hobart, June 11. There have been good general rains.
