FIRES.
A SCHOOL BURNED. By Telegraph—Press A»eoeiatio». Wellington, Saturday. A telegram has been received by the police fhat the Greytown High School haa been burned down. The building, which was old, was uninsured. The school was built in 1879. It was used in conjunction with the high school as a lecture hall, cookery, and laboratory. The fire is attributed to a defective chimney. The school materials were insured for £l2O, and the headmaster's goods for £IOO. The building was burnt down in an hour.
