' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. ■ Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at o p.m.. —Summary: Stormy weather has been experienced in most parts of the Dominion, but especially in the northern and southernmost districts, and on the west coast of the South Island. .The barometer is still low in the south, forecast: Present indications are for iouth-westerly Y/inds, strong to a heavy gale, in ircr of the country, cold and squally weather, showery at times, and with snow on the higher levels. The barometer is unsteady in the south, but .is due to rise everywhere soon.
