THE 'STRIKE FUND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. The General Laborers' Union, at a large meeting, unanimously decided to vote.the full 10 per cent, levy asked for toy t'he Federation of Labor to assist the miners on strike, and also passed a resolution endorsing the action Mr. Parry had taken in connection with the Waihi trouble, and expressing confidence in the Federation of La/bor. THE NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING COMPANY. Christchurch, Last Night. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received the following cablegram from London: "Our steamers are discharging frozen meat and dairy produce, under difficulties, with labor supplied by the consignees. Hope to telegraph better tnews next week. The Rotorua left Capetown las't night."
