Mr. Knox has recommended to Mr. Taft the withdrawal of the civil suit against the Coffee Trust, le*st complications witli Brazil should ensue. Mr. Taft is considering Mr. Knox's suggestion. CHURCH UNION. London, May 29. The reports of committees of the Established and United Free Churches, who were inquiring whether the union would be favorably received by the general assemblies at Edinburgh, show that some Free Church speakers doubted the stability of the union while any element of establishment remains.
