FIRES.
DUNEDIN FIRE INSURANCES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin Thursday. The whole of .the risks were held bv the Royal Insurance Company, with whom Nhnmo and Blair held a policy for £6500 on the building and £12,000 on the stock, plant and fittings. The cheese which was intended for the Winter Show, and which was stored in the basement, practically escaped undamaged.
ELLERSLIE DWELLING BURNED.
Auckland, Thursday. A fire at Ellerslie this morning'destroyed a house in Robert street, Ellerslie, owned by Albert Hill and occupied by A. McDonald. Mrs. McDonald was rescued through an upstairs window, after she had fainted and her clothes had caught fire. The house was insured for £3OO ape' tin furniture for £l5O.
