ENTERTAINMENTS
[ EMPIRE PICTURES. To-night at the Empire Picture Palace the management will present an entirely new programme of the latest picture releases specially chosen from the vast supply of Messrs. John Fuller and Sons. The star item is a lengthy production entitled "The Moonstone." It is a superb film, and it illustrates the famous dramatic story by Wilkie Collins, depicting in a sensational manner the many thrilling incidents in connection with the theft of one of the sacred? stones of India. The other three dramas to be shown would bear starring in any; programme, being "The Luck of Reckless- Reddy" (a Selig Western story), "One Touch of Nature" (a Vitagraoh romance of note), and "The Strike Leader" (an English production based on the present labor troubles). A good industrial film will be included, namely, "Agriculture by Motor," and scenic films comprise "Picturesque Dulpin" and "Glimpses of France," the latter being beautifully colored. The comic numbers are reported to be exceptionally good, the titles being "Aunt Jan's Legacy" (a 1000 ft. Lubin screamer), "Tommy at the Dentist's," and "Bill and the Lions."
