The report of the organising secretary urging the necessity of a union. Tf the association became united there was no doubt about their strength and influence, and the reign of the fanatical teetotal .extremist would be speedily at an end. It was significant that the revulsion of popular opinion against extreme fanaticism was not confined to Australia. In New Zealand their opponents had, it appeared, shot their bolt.
