TREASURE SEEKERS
A MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dufledin, Monday. The present position of the treasureseekijig party, it is said, is Mr. May lias gone'to Sydney to see if hecan isecure the necessary funds to release the Wairoa and carry out the project. Yesterday there was a meeting of 15 or 10 -shareholders. Nothing definite was determined upon, but there was a feeling that something- might be done in the way of reconstructing the company so that the venture might be carried through. It was decided to in-, terview ' Messrs, Stevenson and Cook, witih a view to seeing whether arrangements! could he made for the release of the boat. Extreme disappointment is I felt at having the venture blocked at this stage before its possibilities hare been tried, and a portion of the crew have expressed ' their willingness to accompany the vessel on tribute and chance what reward they would get from the proceeds.
