SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—Summary.—Cold and v -eaWe weather has been reported, ,«ith an improvement ffl conditions today. Moderate to strong southerly and aouth-easterly winds have predominated, •■with a slight in the barometer, forecast.—Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather; temperature conditions somewhat milder, with increasing tumidity. The winds will probably change to northerly and be _ fresher everywhere to-morrow, with an increase in the barometric pressure.
