'With flour at £8 15s per ton, a,nd the high prices at present ruling for wheat, it is freely asserted that millers are running their mills at a loss; One miller stated to-day that he reckoned he was losing £4O per week with his present diminished output, and he would have to consider the question of closing the mill until wheat got cheaper or flour dearer. He quoted figures to show that he was losing 19s 9d per ton on flour.
