BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH. is hereby given that the NewPlymouth Borough Council will, at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Borough Council Offices, Town Hall, King street, New Plymouth, on MONDAY, the 10th day of June, 1912, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1912, and ending on 'the 31st day of March, 1913, namely— A general rate under Section 78 of ''The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," of one shilling and one penny in the pound on the rateable value on the valuation roll of all rateable property within the Borough of New Plymouth, on the basis of annual value.

A Water Rate (ordinary supply) under Section S3 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," payable (1) Upon all lands and buildings in the Borough of New Plymouth used as or in connection -with dwelling-houses and to which water is supplied, of sixpence in 'the pound on the annual rateable value on the said Valuation Roll. (2) Upon all buildings used as stores or warehouses or for any purposes other than as ' dwelling houses a rate of threepence in the pound on the annual rateable value on the »aid Valuation Roll. Also that all the above rates will be payable at the offices of the Borough Council, situate in King street, New Plymouth, in two equal instalments on the lltli day of June, 1012, and the 11th day of December, 1912. Notice is also hereby given that the annually recurring Special Rate of one shilling and sixpence in the pound on the annual rateable value of all the rateable property within the Eastern, Central and Western Wards of the Borough of New Plymouth, made for providing the interest on the loan of £90,000, will be payable at the office aforesaid in two equal instalments on the days fixed in that behalf (being the first day of June, 1912, and the first day of December, 1912), such rate for the period above mentioned to be one shilling and sixpence in the pound on the basis of the annual value. Notice is also hereby given that the Rate Book, containing particulars of all the above rates is now open for inspection at the Borough Council Offices, King street, New Plymouth.
