Captain Samson has been appointed commandant of the naval wing of the flying corps, and Captain Sykes of the military wing. A SPECTATOR KILLED. Received 20, 10.5 p.m. London, May 19. While Lieutenant Ashton was completing a successful flight on the Army grounds at Larkhill, Salisbury Plain, two thousand spectators closed in upon the shed, and Ashton was unable to avoid them. He killed a youth and injured four others.
