' At the Newcastle Jockey Club's Cup meeting the principal events resulted aa follows: Newcastle Cup, of 750 sots.; one mile and three furlongs.—Psyttyx, 7.7, 1; Cashmore, 7.4, 2; Midge B, 7.4, 3. Won by half a length. Time, 2min. 2iy B sec. St. Leger Stakes, of 300 sor«.; two miles.—Goad, 8.10, 1; Russian Lady, 8.5, 2; Wondai, 8.10, 3; Won by a neok. Time, 3min. H%sec.
