CANADIAN BUSH FIRES
GREAT DESTRUCTION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 19, 5.20 p.m. Ottawa, May 18. The most extensive fires for many years have occurred in the Yukon River Valley. Many settlers' homes have been destroyed, and much first-class lumber burnt. The fire had a frontage of 200 miles.
