In the Supreme Court to-day the jury disagreed in a case in which Margaret Parker wat charged with ily grog selling at St. Kilda. Aeeused will be retried to-moTretr. CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS. Christchurch, Last Night. At the criminal sittings Wm. P. Tapling and William Davies were acquitted on a charge of carnally knowing a girl under the age of sixteen years. Ernest Edmond Needham, for forging and uttering a cheque for £5, was sentenced to thirty months' imprisonment. Sadler was Committed for unlawfully Using an instrument, and sentence was deferred.
