PERSONAL.
Mr. H. J. M. Wells returned by the mail train last night after a few days' holiday spent in Wellington. Mr. L. Veale, of the Railway Locomotive Department, left New Plymouth yesterday morning, under transfer to Wellington. Mr. C. A. Johansen, of Norsewood, died on Friday, after a short illness. Deceased was one of the early settlers of Norsewood. He was a storekeeper there in the early days.
