The Meteorological Department published the following summary and foreoast at 5 p.m.:—Summary. —The barometer has continued high, and the weather has been rather cold and mistv. especially on all the eastern coast. Moderate south-easterly breezes have prevailed. Forecast. —Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere shortly, the present light and variable winds giving way to freshening northerlies, with somewhat milder but misty and cloudv weather, and with occasional light showers in many parts of the country.
