STEADY DEVELOPMENT OF TRADE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Thursday. The increasing popularity of the Vancouver mail service is shown by the fact that the Makura, sailing for Vancouver to-morrow takes a full complement of passengers, about 140 of whom will join tiie vessel here. The demand for Now Zealand produce in Canada is also steadily increasing, and the Makura takes 1500 boxes of butter, and large lines of onions, hides, frozen fish, etc.
