MASONIC INSTALLATION

There was a big and representative gathering of Freemasons at St. Mary's Hall on Wednesday night, when the installation of Bro. William Lints, as Worshipful Master of Mt. Egniont Lodge, No. 670, E.C., took place. Wor. Bvo. W. 11. Broome was .in the chair. During the evening the Wor. M.. invested his officers for the present year as follows:—T.P.M., Wor. Bro. W. IT. Broome; Senior Warden, Bro. W. Perry; Junior Warden, Bro. Geo. Griffiths; Treasurer, Wor. Bro. W. 11. Broome; Secretary, Wor. Bro. F. ('. Bellringer; Chaplain, Rev. J. W. Burton; Director of Ceremonies, Wor. Bro. F. T. Bellringer; Organist, Bro. ,T. ,T. F. Gardiner: Senior Deacon, Bro. J. Bnttimore; Junior Deacon, Bro. TT. J. SL Wells; Inner Guard, Bro. P. J. 11. White; Stewards, Bro. E. IT. Carter and Bro. A. T. Coad. After the ceremony an adjournment was made to the Brougham Street Hall, where a lengthy toast list was gone through. Tt was interspersed with songs by Bros. W. M. Perry, J. W. Holland, Thomson, W. H. Broome, and a recitation by Wor. Bro, Blyth.
