TELLURIDES PROPRIETARY LTD. Following ia tlic mine manager's report for the week ending May 4, 1912: Gordon.—The level going south on the course of the Corbett lode has advanced five feet for the week, making a total distance from the cross-cut of 15 feet. The footwall portion shows about four inches of stone, and not so much sulphide has been seen in the ore as was the case a little further back, but still the area looks very promising. The level going north on the course of the Corbett lode has been advanced six feet for the week, making a total distance from the cro.-s-cut of 10 feet. There is an improvement in the quality of the stone in this direction. The quartz showing on the footwall side is six inches in thickness and was responsible for some very good ore at the last breaking down, and there is still a very nice show of high class sulphide to be seen at this point. The hanging-wall portion is also improving in appearance, the mineral indications being much better than has ever been the case before. Volunteer. —On Thursday last the rise intercepted a lode two feet in thickness, from which a general sample was taken, and this assayed .£5 fls 5d per ton. The rise will now be carried forward on the upstrike of the lode till it reaches the old surface level above. This development is now up 10 feet from the back of the main level.
