The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom totals 4,250,000 quarters, and for the Continent 3,005 000 quarters; the. Atlantic shipments are 248,000 quarters; Pacific nil. The total shipments to Europe fdr the week amounted to 1,420,000 quarters, including Argentine 626,000 quarters. Russian 270,000 quarters, Danubian 55,000 quarters, Indian 51,000 quarters, and Australasian 70,000 quarters.
ARGENTINE REPORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. The following shipments of prsduee have been dispatched from the Argentine to United Kingdom ports during April 1912 (the figures in parentheses refer to April, 1911):—Frozen beef, 1 133.000 quarters (147,153); chilled beef ,166,000 quarters (100,037); frozen mutiton. 152,000 carcases (178,753): frozen lamb, 37,000 carcases (01.208); butter 2829cwt (nil).
