AN ACTIVE RESISTER
WELL-DESERVED PUNISHMENT. By Telegraph—Prew Association. Waihi, Tuesday. Wm. Harris, said to be from Christchurch, was fined £5 for assaulting a , cadet while a parade was in progress. He refused to pay the fine, and was sentenced to thirty days' hard labor in default. The prisoner was sent to gaol.
