THE HON. G. LAUEENSON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Hon. Geo. Laurenson, Minister for Labor, to-day inspected a number of sites offered for workers' homes in the city. A meeting of applicants is to be held to ballot for a site upon which they vjpuld prefer buildings erected. In the afternoon the Minister received several deputations on local matters, and visited the principal factories. He was also taken round the district by motor car, and visited the orchards at Stoke and Moutere. He returned to Wellington this evening by the Nikau.
