AFFAIRS IN MEXICO
A PROVISIONAL PRESIDENT. By Cable—Prese Association—Copyright Mexico City, May 5. Emmie Gomez, a Mexican lawyer, has been proclaimed provisional President of Mexico by General Orozeo. The provisional capital is now Jaurez. The appointment has been made chiefly with a view to its effect on the United States, which had not recognised the belligerency of the Tebel movement.
