STEPS TO FREE TRAFFIC. By Cable—Pre«6 Association —Copyright. London, May 1. Mr. Ackland, in the House of Commons, said that Sir E. Grey was much concerned at the loss incurred by ships in the Dardanelles, and had made urgent representations with a view to freeing the traffic.
TO BE RE-OPENED. Received 3, 12.50 a.m. Constantinople, March 2. The Porte has decided to reopen the Dardanelles, reserving the right to reclose them if necessary.
