At Juneau, Alaska, a Unted States district judge dismissed three indictments on a charge of. restraint of trade against the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Pacific Coast Steamship Company, the White Pass and Yukon (Alaska) Steamship Company, and other companies connected with the Alaskan trade. The chief indictment charged them with conspiracy to monopolise transportation between White Horse, Skagway, and other points. The charges were brought under the Sherman Anti-Trust Law. Other indictments are still pending.
