The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—Summary.—Cold and changeable weather has prevailed with showery and squally weather in many parts of the Dominion. Westerly and southerly winds strong to gale have been experinced. The barometer has been unBiHady. Forecast.—Present indications are for westerly and southerly winds, strong to gale, cold, showery and changeable weather. The barometer will probably rise everywhere.
