A BETTER INVESTMENT THAN OIL ABRIDGED PROSPECTUS OF AN UNLIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, TO BE CALLED The New Plymouth Brotherhood. (Unsectarian). CAPITAL UNLIMITED. To be divided into Individual Shares of Manhood. Payable upon Application - .... Brotherliness. Payable upon Allotment ..... More Brotherliness. Calls at Frequent Intervals .... still More Brotherliness. OBJECTS OP THE COMPANY: THE OBJECTS of the Company shall be to develop all that undeniable wealth of manhood in the town and suburbs of New Plymouth, in the Provincial District of Taranaki, New Zealand; and to produce therefrom stronger and more virile character. One of the means of carrying out these objects shall be by pleasant Sunday afternoon meetings for men only, when there will be hearty singing, good music, short, bright talks on life—its meaning and use. The promoters have had placed at their disposal (free of all charges) the commodious building known as THE GOOD TEMPLAR HALL; they have also the promise of some of the best musical talent in the town; and capable speakers from far and near have pledged their help in this effort. The meetings will be limited to one hour's duration. The Company will seek to help men, irrespective of creed, class or color. If a man is out of work, he will be helped to employment; if he is "down on his luck" he will be brothered. Men of all churches may become shareholders, and men of no church will have the same privileges. No narrow-minded, sect-loving, mean-spirited, unbrotherly man shall be allowed to become a shareholder, but he will be welcomed at the meetings in the hope that he will be influenced to become brotherly and thereby be eligible for membership. THE MARKET. THE MARKET is the most unassailable in the world, and the demand for healthy, broad-minded, bighearted, manly men, such as the Company intends to develop, is unlimited. THE PROFITS. THE PROFITS will be immediate and inexhaustible. Every shareholder is due to receive a dividend of strength and inspiration at every meeting of the aforesaid Brotherhood. Applications for Shares will be received at the (Unregistered) Office of the Company, the Good Templar Hall, on SUNDAY, MAY sth, 1912, when the Rev. J. W. Burton, representing the promoters, will give an Address on "Brotherhood as an Ideal of Jesus Christ." The Preliminary Expenses are nil, and the current expenses will be of the lightest. All Finances shall be managed by a Directorate to be chosen by the Shareholders. The Promoters invite the co-operation of trustworthy BROKERS, and every application thus received through them will entitle the said Broker to extra benefits.
