TORNADO IN AMERICA

MANY FATALITIES. By Cable—Press Association—Oopyright. New York, April 28. A tornado wrecked several houses in the town of Calumet, and three persons were killed. The town of Lugort was completely blown away, and other villages were levelled. Half-a-dozen people were killed.

A freight and passenger train near Lugort was blown off the traces and wrecked. It is reported that twenty persons were killed and forty -injured. Another tornado at Nhildress, Mexico, greatly damaged many farmhouses, and seven persons are known to have been killed. The tornado cut a path half a mile wide and twenty miles long across eountry, destroying everything in its road.
