Hugo Lawrence Ames, the well-known author, and Florence Amos, who were arrested at Kensington, in March, on a charge of bigamy, have both been sentenced to six months' imprisonment in the second division. They were carried j after Ames had divorced his first wife in Idaho. At the trial the wife deposed that she had no knowledge of the divorce.
