SALE OF SECTIONS. Mr. Newton King reports:—There was a small attendance of the public at Moturoa on Thursday, when I offered the 27 remaining leases of sections in the Whiteley Township. Those present, however, were buyers, and competed well for the .sections, nineteen of which wero sold under the hammer in most cases in excess of the upsets as follows:—Section 98, L. Keith, £8; .section 153, L. Keith, £SO; section 148, J. C. Davies, £2; section 140, J. C. Davies, £2; section 91, W. B. Davies. £4; section G4, E. Griffiths, £7; section 74, E. Griffiths, £0; section 80, E. Griffiths, £5; section 92, W. B. Davies, £4; section 124, E. Griffiths, £lO 10s; section 125, W. B. Davies, £7; section 135, J. O. Davies/ £3!; section 142, L. Keith, £2; section I 143, W. B. Davies, £2 10s; section 155, E. Griffiths, £l7; section 156, ,T. C. Davies, £l2; section 157, J. C. Davies, £l2; section 158, J. C. Davies, £l2; section 123, M. Shivnan, £lO. The eight remaining sections can he obtained "at the upsets on application to Mr. Newton 'King or Mr. W. A. Collis.
