Wool. —'Hie following are the prices realised for the fleecw portion of the clips named: —Tautane, top price 12'/ X d, average ll%d; Titi, 12d and 10% d; Te Apiti, llVad and 10% d; Ashwick, 22y 2 d and 19% d. The wool sales are good. Sale prices are unchanged. AMERICAN WHEAT. London, April 24. Tlim visible American wheat supply is 104,720,000 bushels. WEBSTER BROS.' RETORT. Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday our pens were taxed to their utmost with birds of all classes. Prices all showed an advance on the previous week's list. Forward pullets and fat cockerels were still in good demand. We quote: Hens (old) Is 4d to Is Od, young 2s to 3s, pullets (young) 2s ."id to 2s 7d, forward 3s Ski to 4s (Id, cockerels (young) Is 5d to 2s Id, fat 2s fid to 3s, ducks Is Sd to 2s 3d, drakes 2s to 2s fid, purebred brown Leghorn cockerels 7s fid, bantams Is 'fid, turkeys 4s. The usual line of auction sundries realised satisfactory prices. Fruit. —During the week we have handled large quantities of fruit, mostly pears. Prices have started to liarden, and from now on fruit will be dearer.
