AN EPISCOPAL UTTERANCE.

The Bishop of North Queensland at the anniversary service of the Society for the propagation of the Gospel, held in St. Paul's, declared that throughout Australia a consciousness was growing that the church must he delivered 'of its legal connection with the Church of England. The method of escape from the English leading strings was by State enactment.
