A CRIMINAL BIBLIOPHILE.

He had been previously convicted. The evidence showed that he was a coniirmed book thief, with confederates in New York and London. IMMIGRANTS FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. London, April 23. The Zealandic has sailed with 1222 immigrants for New South Wales. She carried 26 lifeboats. THE AMERICAN TORNADO. New York, April 23. The tornado previously reported in Illinois covered a much larger area than at first believed. Eighty persons are known to have been killed by the collapsing of houses and falling trees. Hundreds of homes have been levelled in one district, the people being crushed to death in the debris.
