WATER DIVINING
AN UNCANNY GIFT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. At the invitation of the Invercargill Town Council the Rev. H. Mason, the water diviner, is at present paying a visit to the town. The object of Mr. Mason's stay is to see if he can discover sufficient water underground to warrant the extension of the present deep well system of water supply. Yesterday and to-day Mr Mason lias made remarkable discoveries of great underground supplies of water in many parts of the town, and his work will probably lead to the introduction of a most complete supply. The use of his uncanny powers is causing much interest.
