A FATAL TORNADO. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright New York, April 22. Thirty-five persons were killed during a tornado in Illinois. In North-west Indiana a village named Bush was completely destroyed. Miles of telephone wires were blown down, and a farmhouse was lifted bodily. Trolley lines fell in many cities, and several persons were electrocuted. One party took refuge in a deserted house, but trees fell, crushing the structure, all of the party, numbering five, being killed. HEAVY DAMAGE REPORTED. Received '23, 10.10 p.m. New York, April 2.3. The tc i undo swept a large area of Southern Georgia. Six people are reported to have been killed. There was heavy damage to property.
