URENUI. (iFrora Our Own Correspondent.) Urenui, April 23. The Hon. Geo. Laurenson and the Hon. Dr. Te Rangihiroa arrived here this morning and addressed the Urenui school children. The Hon. G. Laurenson (who is a fluent speaker) advised the children to be diligent and painstaking, and ultimately they would become good and useful citizens of the Dominion. Dr. Te Rangihiroa, who was mush affected, said this was his first school and also his birthplace. ITe gave a sketch of his early school days at Urenui, and told them that any scholar now had the cliancc of getting up to the top of the tree by study and perseverance, and who could say but that Urenui might produce a Prime Minister some day. Dr. Te Rangihiroa was frequently applauded during his address. The Ministers informed them that they had secured a lialf-holidav for the children on the first fine day. Three cheers were then given by the children for the visitors. The Hon. G. Laurenson proceeded to Mokau, whilst the Hon. Dr. Te Rangihiroa returned to Waitara in the afternoon. The Hon. G. Laurenson will return here to-morrow.
