FIRES.
AXOTIIER OUTBREAK. By Telegraph—Press Aseotiation. Dunedin, Last Night. , At 2.30 this afternoon the Milton Fire Brigade was called out to suppress an i outbreak in Gray's stables, adjoining the section on which yesterday's fire oc- : curred. The outbreak was quelled in a few minutes. Like the other fires, its origin is a mystery, the natural inference being that a spark from the other fire found its way into the stable, but the place where the fire originated does not lend support to the theory. THE MILTON CONFLAGRATION. Dunedin, Last Night. The fire at Milton last night destroyed for the second time within five weeks the premises of James Gray and Som, general merchants. The new stock which was totally destroyed, was valued at £6OOO, and was partly insured, but the insurances are not available at present. If your property is not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Company, Ltd., Devon street; telephone 500. Webster Bros, district agents. Insurances effected on the most favorable terms.—Advt.
