The discovery of the North Pole fell to the Americans, and the South Pole is the prize of the Norwegians. This is made very clear 'by the return of the Terra Nova, as on January :i Captain Scott was ].j() miles away from the Pole, whereas Captain Amundsen had reached it in the middle of December. The question of luck enters largely into such matters, but there is no luck about the superiority of Crescent Blend Tea. It has won its way into favor through sheer merit, and this position it will always maintain.—Advl. PAHI HOTEL KEEPER BAD WITH COLIC. Mr Joseph Ryan, hotelkeeper, of Palii, N.Z., was very bad with Colic and fried many remedies, without results. Then the Honorable Mr. Scotland advised his wifo to give him Chamberlain's Colic and Diarrhoea Remedy. He says:—'-] was sceptical and refused to take it, I reckoned that such things were no good. At last I got so bad that my wife"prevailed upon me to try it. Aftelr two doses I was right and I have been so ever since. I was in a bad way, I can tell you. but now I swear by Chamberlain's Colic and Diarrhoea Remedy and always keep it bandy." Sold by all chemists and storekeepers.
