THE VICTORIAN STATE MINES. Received 17, 8.40 p.m. Sydney, April 17. A ballot of the employees at the State Mine rejected the manager's terms by a huge majority, and the strike is proceeding. THE LITIIGOW STRIKE. Received 18, 1250 a.m. Sydney, April 17. A ballot of the Lithgow strikers showed two to one in favor of acceptance' of the agreement for a resumption of work on Monday. The mining section, however, declare that they will j not resume unless two non-unionists are discharged.
