The South Wales enginemen and stokers declared the strike off simultaneously. They protested that the miners' leaders had betrayed trade unionism by coercing the Enginemen's Association. Received 15, 9.30 p.m. i London, April 15. ■ Mr. Wilson, a Labor member of the House of Commons, has received £260 from the New Zealand Press Fund to relieve strike distress in West Houghton. The Daily Times' fund in aid of the women and children who are suffering as a result of the coal strike in Britain was closed to-night. The total sum raised is £1643 18s.
