(From Our Own Correspondent.) J The funeral of the late Mr. Morgan, on Saturday last, was very largely attended. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Richards. The Moa lodge of Freemasons attended in regalia, the Masonic ceremony being conducted by Wor. Bro. Young. The»e was a fair attendance of the meinbere of the fraternity, but not as many as would have been there had the funeral been on any other day, Saturday being a very bad day for business men to get away.

At the u6uai monthly meeting of the Moa Dairy Company, held to-day (Monday), there were present: Messrs Jonea (chairman), Barford, Egan, MeMahon, Stachurski, and Williams. Mr. Lile's tender was accepted for butter-milk for three years, at £36 per annum. Messrs Jones and MeMahon were authorised to affix the company's seal to the application to have the Waiongona creamery site brought under the Land Transfer Act. Transfers as applied for were accepted. It was decided that supplier* ceasing to supply milk to the factory during the winter months, and wishing : to purchase butter, moist pay cash for it. It was decided that it be left in the 'hands of the manager and secretary to arrange re insuranco of the shed and contents at the factory. Mr. Hinc waited on the board re testing. The manager's report was taken in committee. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr. Cuddy, asking whether Mr. Fulton would be flowed to test samples of milk for the company. A special meeting of directors is to be held on Monday, April 22, at 1 p.m. re testing and electric power. Accounts amounting to £4061 5s 4d were passed for payment, the amount for milk being £4,231 3s 2d for 92,310 lb of butter-fat, as against £3,292 16s lOd for 79,037 lb of butter-fat for the corresponding period of last vear.
