r SUMMARY AND FORECAST. • By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following weather summary and forecast' at 5 p.m. yesterday: Summary, — The barometer has risen above normal everywhere, and fair to cloudy weather is reported generally. Moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated. Forecast—Present indications are for a little movement of the l>arometer in the northern districts, but a fall will probably take place shortly in the south. Mild and changeable weather is probable generally, with moderate easterly breezes in the north, but freshening easterlies and northerlies in the south, when a change for more unsettled weather will probably follow in about 36 hours.
