CONCILIATION COURT.

TO SIT TO-DAY. J Mr T. Harle Giles, Conciliation Commissioner for the Northern and Tara--5 naki Industrial District, arrived in New Plymouth yesterday for the purpose of hearing disputes relating to the general laborers and to the Carpenters and Joiners Union. The former will be held at the borough council chambers to-day at 10.15 a.m., and the latter on Monday at the same hour. The assessors in the laborers' dispute are: For the union, M. J. Reardon and Edward Kenpedv, of Wellington, and G. E. Roper, of New Plymouth; and for the employers, W. F. | Brooking, James Clarke, and F. Grayling, all of New Plymouth. In the carpenters' and joiners' dispute the assessors are: For the union, Ivor Hazell and G. Blotherwick, of Wellington, and C. D. Arnold, of New Plymouth; for the employers, W. F. Brooking, J. W. Boon, and F. A. Coleman, all of New Plymouth. Mr. Grenfell, assistant secretary of the Employers' Association, Wellington, appears for the employers in both cases.
