CHARGES OF CORRUPTION.
ME. PEARCE AND HOX. T. W. RUSSELL. By Telegraph—Own Reporter. Elthanj, Last Xight. With regard to a letter which appeared in the Daily News this morning, from Mr. G. V. Pearce, the Minister for Internal Affairs (Mr. G. W. Russell), speaking at the social this evening, said that if that gentleman, wlim they met up in Parliament, would properly formulate any charge against him or the Government, lie would be glad to give him an opportunity to make the fullest investigation.
