THE TAXI-OAB ROBBERY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 11 p.m. New York, April 10. Edward Kinsman has confessed to the recent taxi-cab robbery, implicating others. A portion of the stolen jewellery has been recovered. Kinsman was sentenced to three and a half years' imprisonment in Singsing Prison. A RAILWAY OO'/ISIOX. New York, April 10. A freight train racing to reach a siding at Sacramento before another train, collided with a motor train. Thirteen passengers and two trainsmen were seriously injured. The wreckage of both trains littered the tracks. POLITICAL REFUGEES. Washington, April 10. Kagan and Lidhatkof, two Social Democrats, have escaped from Siberia, and have been granted admission to the United States on the ground of being political refugees. : CANADA AND THE WEST INDIES. Ottawa, April 10. The West Indies agreement remains secret pending its submission to Parliament. An official statement declares thalt it provides for generous reciprocal preference.
