.FATAL GALES IN THE NORTH. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 9, 11.15 p.m. London, April 9. It was a cold and dry Easter, but owing to the dislocation of the train services the majority of Londoners stayed in town. There were severe gales in the north, and children were killed by falling walls at Manchester and Glasgow.
