Meanwhile Naxim Bey is commanding. Edhem states that 200,000 Arabs are assisting the 10,000 Turks. The Arabs arc fired with implacable revenge against the Italians; consequently very few prisoners are taken. The Italian position at Tobruk is difficult, owing to the poisoning of artesian wells.
