Juanovitch, a former Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs, who was sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment in October, 1907, for treason, and was incarcerated in the fortress of Podgoritza, with hig feet enchained, escaped with other conspirators by digging a subterranean passage which took eight months to complete. They disposed of the earth down a drain. Juanovitch has reached Constinople.
